The console war is official
At the game awards 2019, Xbox surprised everyone by announcing their next-gen console Xbox Series X. they showed the console with a compete redesigned structure a.k.a the fridge, they revealed some specification and promised to deliver the future of gaming. Since then, Xbox has been throwing Series X info almost every week with what games to expect, the CPU and GPU details and whatnot. on the other hand, Sony was such quiet and had just revealed a new logo with 5 replacing the 4. till a few days before, PS5 was more a mystery than anything.
But today, we finally have some information on what to expect from the latest from Playstation. I will not go through the technical stuff about it but will give a basic summary of what you can find in the PS5. with AMD's 8-core Zen 2 CPU and RDNA 2 GPU, the architecture is quite similar to the Xbox Series X. Sony is touting blazing-fast SSDs, Ray Tracing, and 3d audio to enhance your experience. coming to the controller, Sony decided not to reveal anything about the new Dual Shock 5 controller that will come with the PS5.
Both Xbox and Sony are touting their next-gen consoles to be revolutionary and best in the world. however, only time will tell which one is more powerful and can Xbox with all its power deliver exclusive titles that can challenge Playstation dominance.
